Jonathan Petty
After a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from CSU, Fresno (summa cum laude) and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Western Michigan University (summa cum laude), Jon taught at numerous colleges in the Valley and throughout California. He found that he was ready for new challenges and that a transition to law would be a natural fit. He attended San Joaquin College of Law (High Honors).
Jon knew that he wanted to pursue an area of the law that actually allowed individuals and families to avoid negative or painful circumstances. Estate planning was a good fit. While allowing him to use his background in attention to language and moral dilemmas, Jon found that careful estate planning could ensure that families could avoid unexpected consequences and strife.
Jon enjoys working with clients to ensure their estate plans are legally sound while meeting their individualized needs. The personal connections that he makes with clients, learning about their families, their hopes and fears, their goals, make each day rewarding.
In his free time, Jon enjoys gardening, furniture refinishing, and hanging out with his dogs.
